Things to do when you arrive at the new assignment:

Utilities:
Are the electricity, water and gas utilities turned on and working properly? If not call your Housing Coordinator.

Accessibility:
What keys will I need? (A key for the gate, community pool, mailbox, gym, etc.)

Who should I contact to obtain these keys and how/when will I get them – even if the last tenant hasn’t returned them?

Service:
Who can I talk to at the housing or apartment complex if there is a problem? This includes service issues with the air conditioner, plumbing, flooring etc.

Where can I find the garbage disposal/dumpster?

Who provides cable service in my complex?

Is my unit presently furnished? “Who would I call after hours if expected furniture does not arrive? Call 501-661-1717

*Remember, to make your living arrangements as comfortable as possible, preparation is the key. Understanding what to bring before you arrive saves you valuable time and money.
